FLANC Workshops and Conference 2013

The Foreign Language Association of Northern California (FLANC) is the oldest foreighn lanague organization in Northern California. It started at UC Berkeley in 1952. This year thus marks it 61st anniversary. In Japanese, celebrating one's 60th anniversary is called "kan'reki," which is an auspicious occation because it is considered a time of rebirth. In this sense, FLANC is reborn and beginning another sixty years!
