The 40th Annual Japanese Speech Contest 第４０回日本語弁論大会

The fortieth annual Japanese speech contest was held on November 3, 2013 at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California, in San Francisco. I served as the head-judge for the middle/high school student division. I have served as a judge for more than ten years. And I was extremely honored to have the chance to address the audience in the prestigious moment of the contest.

私は弁論大会の審査員を務めさせていただいて、かれこれ10年になるのですが、若い皆さんの熱気あふれるスピーチには、毎年、感銘を受けています。本年も例年通り、もしくは例年以上に、感銘そして感動を受けるスピーチをありがとうございました。大学に進学しても、日本語のクラスをとっていただきたいと希望しています。
